In December 2020, I started writing my first book. Initially, my muse for the book was a song called “Alone II” by Ava Max and Alan walker. After listening to that song, I imagined a story based on the events, so I thought to myself “why not write it down?” And after 2 years of writing, I finally self-published my book Make It Right on Kobo books. Adding to that my book includes many genres, but this is only a representation of the many, flowing ideas that were in my brain during the writing process. As a Pharmacy technician in training, I was indeed the youngest one in my team (I was 16) Having said that, I was responsible for Covid-19 PCR testing through drive-thru. Whenever a patient would show up in their car, I would assist them through the testing process. That includes checking them in, making sure their insurance covers the PCR test, preparing their test package, guiding them through the test, and finally finish up their insurance work. I also worked as a Pharmacy Cashier and assisted patients in getting their medication, making sure it is covered by their insurance, and making sure that the payment is done successfully. All my work was done under the supervision of a Pharmacist, however most of the time I was relied on for those two roles. PCR testing and being a Pharmacy cashier isn’t an easy job, specially because I was younger at the time, However, it did give me a lot of experience that makes me more confident in my career in healthcare.
