As a Career Advisor, My primary responsibility is to identify and place highly skilled IT professionals into bench positions with your clients. Bench positions refer to those where the IT professional is available and ready to be placed with a client, often on short notice.To excel in this role, you should have a deep understanding of the IT industry, as well as experience in sales and recruitment. I'll need to develop relationships with potential clients and understand their specific IT staffing needs, as well as identify, engage, and place highly skilled IT professionals into bench positions with your clients.To accomplish this, I'll need to be skilled at using recruitment tools and technologies, such as applicant tracking systems and social media platforms, to identify and engage with potential candidates. I'll also need to be knowledgeable about various IT roles and skillsets, as well as be able to effectively communicate with both clients and candidates.In addition to these technical skills, I'll need to possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with both clients and candidates.
