Naval Headquarters, New Delhi

During this period, I was responsible for maintaining ships, dockyards, aircraft yards, aircraft and handling projects at Naval Headquarters. I was actively involved in 22 major procurement processes, including solicitation, price negotiations, and signing of contracts. During the entire period of over 22 years, I had distinguished contributions in ensuring seamless operation of projects and demonstrated excellence in steering multiple responsibilities with measurable results.I was involved in setting up infrastructure for operations and maintenance of newly inducted fleet of 16 fighter aircraft and associated front and second-line maintenance equipment costing over 500 Crores. Served as a Team member of the “Detailed Technical Project Report” of Aircraft Carrier being bought from Russia and another one being indigenously built. Steered production and quality domains to roll out flawless finished products – 15 Aircraft post 2nd/3rd-Line inspections. I was involved in maintenance and repair of aircrafts and ships during initial job tenure with Indian Navy. I successfully implemented project of “Integrated Logistics Management System” on Oracle platform contributing complete inventory management of Naval Air Stores. I successfully implemented project of “conversion of a non-fly worthy aircraft into a dynamic Ground Testing Unit” contributing modern project management techniques.
