Notably, it marks the inaugural polymer flooding endeavor for heavy crude oil in the United States.The investigation focused on:Analysis of Flow Assurance and Heavy oil emulsion properties.Designing experiments to assess various characteristics of produced crude oil emulsions:Viscosity, stability, and separation efficiency.Evaluation of polymer breakdown and residual polymer concentration.Monitoring watercut.Assessing emulsion breaker efficacy.Recovery of polymer and treatment of effluent.
