I am a Legal Director at Mehrteab & Getu Advocates LLP (MLA) Tax Practice. My practice encompasses general Tax and Corporate Law, with expertise and specialization on Tax. Before joining MLA, I was working as a lecturer and Legal Clinics Program Coordinator at Haramaya University College of Law. After joining MLA, I have been advising foreign and domestic investors on Ethiopian Tax Law, Investment, Competition, Forex regulation, private equity, M & A, and conducting jurisdictional compliance and legal due diligence investigation and report. I graduated from Haramaya University in 2016 and studied my LLM degree at the same University and obtained LL.M in International Economic and Business Law in 2019 with Great Distinction. I authored, with Mehrteab Leul, the Ethiopian Chapter of Tax Guide on Bloomberg Tax (2022).
