The Finance & Administrative Associate responsibilities vary depending on the needs of the PERTS team but the major duties include providing vital administrative, financial, and operational support to the Executive Director, leadership team, and staff members. I am responsible for managing all of the financial transactions of the organization and monitoring funding; scheduling events and managing travel; and is the point of contact for team members in administrative issues. I also serve as a liaison for administrative issues with several departments and many external collaborators. This position will report to the Director of Operations and interface heavily with senior leadership and key partners.

• Case managed an average of 60 assessment cases from inception to final eligibility recommendations.• Collaborated with cross functional teams from multiple sites and stakeholders to meet legal timelines.• Utilized Google Calendar, Sheets, and Forms to organize information and share availability with staff.• Wrote psychoeducational reports describing students’ disabilities and how it manifests itself in their learning style, behavior, and what the disability means in general. • Identified student’ special education eligibility by collecting multiple data points, synthesizing data, and meeting with colleagues.

• Case managed an average of 30 assessment cases in collaboration with teachers, vice principals, and director of special education. • Teachers reported that their students were utilizing positive coping techniques following a mindfulness curriculum that was implemented to two elementary school classrooms for 6 weeks. • Provided scheduled counseling sessions to students from kindergarten to high school grades, along with office hours for as needed counseling and consultation. • Scheduled out various meetings with deadlines and coordinated with multiple parties.

Greater Los Angeles Area

• Responsible for delivering daily random inventory counts to stock room personnel. Then responsible for updating the computer system once those counts were returned.• Trained new stockroom employees and delegated assignments.• Responsible for communication between different departments regarding shipment and delivery of important plane pieces.
