Natalie held the position of a full-time Clinical Research Assistant in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). In this position, Natalie's research encompassed of a variety of focuses ranging from Cardiac Arrest and Neuromonitoring to Sepsis and Ventilator Acquired Infection. All of the studies that Natalie contributed to were conducted within the Pediatric, Cardiac, and Neonatal Intensive Care Units, as well as the Pediatric Emergency Department. Natalie also served as a certified Get With the Guidelines-Resuscitation (GWTG-R) Data Abstractor via the American Heart and Stroke Associations; in this role, Natalie was responsible for meticulously collecting and analyzing extensive data points regarding all cardiac arrest event handled by intensivists at CHOP. Natalie has contributed to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's earning of a Silver Medal of Recognition for the 2015 fiscal year, and subsequently, Gold Medals of Recognition for the 2016, 2017 and 2018 fiscal years, for excellence in cardiopulmonary resuscitation care.

Natalie has previously worked as a Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) course instructor and private tutor via Examkrackers Test Preparation company. The exam sections that Natalie instructed included Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills (CARS), Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems, and Psychological, Social and Behavioral Foundations of Behavior.

Natalie previously gained first-hand medical experience as a volunteer medical assistant of Dr. Michael J. O'Brien in Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine at the Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine. By working with Dr. O'Brien, Natalie gained significant hands-on clinical experience by observing numerous patient consultations, attending to discussions of planned courses of treatment, and scrubbing into orthopedic surgical procedures at Tulane-Lakeside Hospital.

Natalie previously served as the Executive Vice President of Tulane University's Undergraduate School of Science and Engineering Student Government for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Natalie previously volunteered as a Clinical Research Assistant in Dr. Stacy Overstreet's School Psychology Laboratory in the Tulane University School of Science and Engineering. In this role, Natalie conducted research regarding Social Emotional Learning with a focus on the nationally accredited teaching program, Second Step. Throughout her time in this lab, Natalie completed an independent honors thesis project under the direction of Dr. Overstreet, which was presented as a poster at the 2016 Psi Chi Induction Ceremony at Tulane University. In doing so, Natalie assessed student knowledge of Social Emotional Learning by administering surveys regarding social awareness to elementary and middle school students, analyzing self-reported risk for behavioral issues using the BESS; Behavioral and Emotional Screening System, and evaluating her findings using SPSS statistical software and Microsoft Excel. Natalie successfully defended her honors thesis before her thesis committee in April of 2016.

Natalie previously held the position of Junior Class Representative of Tulane University's Undergraduate School of Science and Engineering Student Government for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Natalie previously served as both the President and Founder of the Tulane University chapter of the national organization, Active Minds. The mission of Active Minds is to reduce the stigma of mental illness and promote the conversation of mental health on college campuses. In this role, Natalie managed a $10,000 budget while helping to organize various on and off campus events focused on helping students maintain a high degree of quality well-being.

Natalie previously volunteered as a laboratory research assistant at Weill Cornell Medical College's Brain and Mind Research Institute in the Neurovascular lab. Natalie's research utilized animal simulated stroke models to explore the peripheral immune response of the brain following cerebral ischemia, with the goal of identifying both the destructive and protective mechanisms associated with this process. By utilizing immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence, Natalie assisted in identifying cellular circuits that influence post-ischemic inflammation in the brain, as well as the functions they serve in neuroprotection, remodeling, and repair.
