I dedicate my time to promoting national service and volunteerism. My development work spans donor solicitation of gifts up to $100,000 and I support annual campaigns of up to $8,000,000. My first patron fund, co-founded in 2012, has grown to include 2,571 philanthropists and $180,053 in available funding for higher education scholarships.I am also fascinated by the US National Trail system. It provides breathtaking beauty combined with the richest of American history throughout all 50 US states. With friends and on solo trips, I have hiked US National Trails in AZ, CA, GA, IL, IN, KY, PA, TN, MA, WV, and counting. I am officially registered as a through-hiker on the Appalachian National Trail, which spans 2,100 miles across 14 states. I hold a personal goal to complete about 70 miles annually on the Appalachian trail.When not hiking, I volunteer with my synagogue, consulting with the security committee. I also support the efforts of the USO of the Midwest and am a member of the Pritzker Military Museum and Library.

I actively recruit, retain, involve and grow the BENS membership base by fundraising for BENS initiatives; recruiting new members; involving current members in BENS project work and regional programs; building business-government partnerships; and organizing regular BENS events in the Chicago Region.
