Contribute to the development of an end to end process for early career and life-long learning within the L&D department.Develop programmes such as modern apprenticeships, and other development programmes to maximise funding and support a high calibre of skills through out the organisation.As part of the Learning & Development team, provide more general Learning & Development delivery and support across the L&D agenda.

Ensure all employees receive the necessary learning opportunities to address organisational needs and drive employee engagement and performance excellence. Other HR activity involves delivering a proactive and flexible HR service by providing relevant and appropriate HR support to all employees, whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with company procedures, documented policies and employment legislation.L&D• Identify learning and development needs through consultations with managers and performance and development review data.• Developing learning paths and development frameworks across the business to strengthen internal talent.o Currently collaborating with regional managers and site staff to align the learning paths with business objectives, effectiveness of delivery and needs of individuals.• Ensure all statutory training requirements are met.• Organise all training ensuring it is delivered in time, is effective and to a defined standard.• Monitor and evaluate all aspects of learning and development – feeding results back into plans and training content.• Effectively work in partnership with external supplier and academic bodies.• Ensure training costs are recorded and maintained within agreed budgets.• Provide progress updates on all L&D activities through briefings, reports and internal media.General HR:• Work with the HR team to design, deliver and communicate the HR strategy.• Support line managers in all matters relating to HR including recruitment, absence and performance management.• Offer advice, arrange and support disciplinary action, grievance hearings and redundancies. • Ensure all appropriate policies, procedures and legal requirements are adhered to with clear audit trails and maintain all personnel records in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
