Strategic Policy Directorate, Strategic Policy Branch. Provided analysis and strategic advice to ensure integration of Government of Canada objectives into planning and execution of the World Circular Economy Forum 2021 (WCEF2021), including environment and climate change objectives. Led and supported the development of high quality, strategic research, analysis and advice for senior management, including presentations, briefing notes, and reports/papers. Supported the coordination of internal ECCC and Government of Canada activities related to the planning, communications, operations and administration of the WCEF2021, including support for overall programme development. Facilitated collaboration at the working-level both within and external to ECCC to ensure departmental and other government department perspectives fed in to planning.

Energy and Transportation Directorate, Environmental Protection Branch. Summarized economic, policy, and technical information and reports on the oil and gas sector, compared regulatory requirements, economic information, and emission data from various Canadian and international jurisdictions, and provided support to the team for technical, economic, and policy advice to senior management.

Researched the business community’s response to the British Columbia Carbon Tax by developing research questions, conducting literature reviews, creating annotating bibliographies, and conducting in-person interviews with industry representatives.

Responsibilities included discussing electricity conservation strategies and energy-saving products with Ottawa community members and conducting English and French electricity conservation presentations for students in grades five and six.

Provided constructive feedback and guidance to students of International Political Economy course. Responsibilities also included marking assignments and the final exam.
