Contributing to work on contextual measures and baseline analysis for the ENCORE study, which seeks to understand social, health, and HIV-related experiences among transgender women and transfeminine people in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. This includes using census data to create a gentrification variable, conducting geospatial analysis of access to services such as drug treatment facilities, and continuing analyses of state-level policy related to gender identity and associations with health and social outcomes.

Developed a policy environment measure for use in the ENCORE study, which seeks to understand social, health, and HIV-related experiences among transgender women and transfeminine people in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

Built out HEAL's programmatic monitoring & evaluation framework, including development of program logic models and revision of indicators, creation of a monitoring dashboard using Power BI, and updates to data collection tools including a monthly Qualtrics survey.

Supporting implementation of WFP’s activities to prevent malnutrition through multisectoral resilience-building. This portfolio includes in-kind and cash-based food assistance for vulnerable groups (children 6-23 months, pregnant and breastfeeding women, school-age children), initiatives to improve household dietary diversity, social and behavior change communication, fortification and food conservation/transformation, and nutrition in school settings.

-Provided technical guidance to Country Offices in the West Africa region wishing to carry out FNG analyses, including identifying policy and programmatic objectives and data needs, planning market price data collection, and providing analytical inputs-Led FNG analyses for the Sahel countries, including conducting CotD analysis to assess the availability and affordability of nutritious foods and model interventions to improve access to nutritious diets-Analyzed food price data for use in programming, including developing tools and processes to model nutrition-sensitive cash-based transfer values for the Central Sahel -Strengthened integration of FNG results and data into other regional analyses, including the Cadre Harmonisé

-Led tailored FNG analysis in the Maradi and Zinder regions to strengthen nutrition-sensitive resilience programming, including facilitating market price data collection in partnership with government-Trained government and UN partners on the CotD methodology and software -Supported Save the Children International with CotD analysis to design a USAID-funded project in Zinder region-Led national-level FNG analyses in Mali and Mauritania

As a member of the FNG team, I worked on analyses assessing barriers to nutritious diets and stakeholder engagement around the results to inform different types of programs, with the aim of improving access to a nutritious diet among vulnerable groups. I led or co-led work in Tanzania, Lao PDR, Sri Lanka and Tajikistan before focusing on the Sahelian countries of Niger, Mali and Mauritania.My responsibilities included:-Conducting desk-based literature reviews on national nutrition contexts, including population-level malnutrition characteristics, availability of and access to nutritious foods, nutrient intake in vulnerable target groups, and socio-cultural determinants of dietary practices-Country missions to support stakeholder engagement, identify key sources of secondary information, and validate and disseminate final results-Leading enumerator trainings and support market price data collection for the Cost of the Diet analysis-Analyzing the affordability of a nutritious diet and modelling interventions to improve nutrient intake using the Cost of the Diet software

-Supported the development and implementation of WFP Ghana's revised nutrition strategy through the drafting of concept papers and literature reviews-Coordinated pilot of the FNG analysis in Ghana, including stakeholder engagement and preliminary CotD analysis and literature review

Completed a research project mapping social protection programs in selected countries that have committed to the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) movement

-Recruited, trained, and managed volunteers, building program to over 40 active mentors -Matched mentors with refugee families from countries including Bhutan, Burma, Iraq, Eritrea, and South Sudan -Liaised with IRC case managers and mentors regarding client needs-Led volunteer orientations, training sessions and meet-ups -Developed and facilitated life skills workshops for refugees -Initiated partnerships with local schools and organizations
