Medical Assitant
Current- Assisting with in office procedures and skin cancer screenings. - Effectively scribing and charting for the physician assistant during the patient's appointment. - Assisting with surgery for excisions of skin cancer. Skin Cancer Consultants practice is adjacent to and shared with two additional facilities owned and operated by Dr. Parker: Dallas Surgi Center, Inc. and Elevate Medical Spa & Cosmetic Surgery. Our shared reception area is welcoming, professional, and well appointed, offering coffee, reading materials, and a large-screen television. The facilities feature a combined five evaluation rooms, seven procedure rooms, two operating rooms, and a two-bed recovery room. Our surgical center is Medicare certified and State licensed. In addition, it is located just feet from our evaluation rooms to offer convenience and familiarity before undergoing a surgical procedure. We are equipped to offer a wide range of anesthesia, from local anesthetics to IV sedation. Our procedure rooms contain state-of-the-art skin care technology, among the highest quality available to the industry. We utilize Omnilux and Blue-U to treat precancerous skin cells, Sciton Profractions and BBL lasers to help address facial scars, and Visia to analyze the extent of sun damage. In the event that you would prefer to undergo surgery elsewhere, we office alongside the well-established Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.
