Throughout my time in the SFASU nursing program, I have experienced substantial personal and professional growth. In addition to my nursing coursework, I pursued a major in Human Development and Family Studies, which included completing 200 practicum hours at Cline Family Medicine. During my time in nursing school, I also worked as a medical assistant at Cline, which allowed me to enhance my clinical skills and gain a comprehensive understanding of patient care from both nursing and developmental perspectives. This program has provided me with a solid foundation in evidence-based practice, opportunities for leadership in various projects and clinical settings, and the chance to participate in community health initiatives. These experiences have equipped me with a diverse skill set and a commitment to patient advocacy, setting the stage for a rewarding nursing career.
