Raised in the wild foothills outside of Yosemite National Park and moved back years later to reconnect with the town, people, and ecology I know and love so well. Driven by curiosity and interest, I have tried baking, teaching, tutoring, and ecology work, which is where I find myself now, but I think I'll stay here. Not many people I know also get paid to go birding or hunt down rare plants all across California.My skill set is as strange and varied as the creatures residing in vernal pools.
