Responsibilities include voting in the FCS Top 25 poll and nominating volleyball, women and men’s basketball players of the week to provide to the conference; Developing and implementing a monthly newsletter to be distributed by the department; Assisting with the game-day operations staff – making certain information is provided for the working media and coaching staff, updating social networking sites with real game time updates and information and assisting with any special requests; Responsible for preseason information for volleyball, soccer and men’s basketball. Assisting with marketing and promotions for gameday, assisting with supervising student workers.

Conducting clinic administration; Assisting clients upon their arrival to the clinic; Handling the accounting process related to the budget and end of the semester reports; Making deposits and updating the mainframe Accounting system; Conducting tasks related to the day-to-day operation of the clinic; Assisting Department Coordinator, when needed, with academic needs of students, faculty and staff; Coordinating schedules and supervising up to 18 student workers; Assisting with payroll processing for student workers; Developing, editing and publishing the clinic newsletter on a semester basis; Assisting in upgrading the scheduling process to an online system; Assisting and developing clinic and departmental procedures for students, faculty and staff; Completing special projects when requested.

Conducting audits of the Provider Relations department–reviewing documentation that was received and the accuracy of posting of the documentation along with the phone calls–Inbound and Outbound. Also audited mailings for the Provider Relations as well for the Claims Recovery department prior to them going out of the door for accuracy to assure correct information was being mailed to the correct provider.

Educating Medicare providers on the correct procedures in billing to Medicare by conducting training classes via the Internet, In-House and across the Medicare Contract region of the U.S. Also developing and reviewing presentations/handouts and job aids used in training.

Serving also as a College/Human Resources Representative and assisting in the training of new employees.
