Scientific Technical Project ManagerFrederick National Laboratory For Cancer Research Aug 2022 - PresentI am a Scientific Technical Project Manager with the Advanced Biomedical Computational Science (ABCS) group within the Bioinformatics and Computational Science directorate. I work with a dynamic team of experts in next generation sequencing, bioinformatics analysis, machine learning and AI, 2D and 3D imaging, computational chemistry, protein modeling, scientific infrastructure and web application development, and other computational and data science areas. In my current role, I work closely with the ABCS Director to coordinate strategic vision, program and logistical support, and training and networking activities, including:1) Publication environment understanding and scientific communications expertise in utilizing visualization tools such as Power BI, BioRender, Adobe Photoshop, and LucidChart, as demonstrated by successfully leading, creating, and launching 3 public-facing websites and web pages.2) Ability to form partnerships with medical strategy, scientific affairs, and community partners as evidenced by designing and implementing 27 targeted surveys, including 25 for training and outreach series evaluations and 2 for Annual All-Hands meetings, resulting in data-driven, continuous improvements to the organizational scientific communication plan and team meeting facilitation.3) Gained skills relevant to medical/scientific affairs as demonstrated through expertise in expediting document preparation by developing and automating monthly updates and status reports for over 80 projects, consistently meeting deadlines for 24 consecutive months. -
