I helped set up Birmingham Gymnastics Academy which is a gymnastics club based at Metchley Lane Gymnastics Centre. It is a small, friendly, family run gymnastics club which encourages children to learn gymnastics in a positive, supportive and exciting learning environment. Within the classes every child has the opportunity to improve their skills on floor, track, vault, trampoline, bar and beam. They are also given the opportunity to achieve ‘Birmingham Gymnastics Academy Awards scheme’ badges and certificates.With a deep-rooted love for the sport and a commitment to promoting a positive and empowering environment. Throughout my years of involvement in gymnastics, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible impact this sport can have on individuals' physical and mental well-being. I believe that by establishing a gymnastics club, we have created a space where individuals can unleash their potential, cultivate discipline, build resilience, and form lifelong friendships. Dedicated to creating a welcoming atmosphere that embraces diversity and encourages participation from individuals of all backgrounds and abilities. Created a detail-orientated business proposal and implemented it successfully (the business broke even in its first year, made a profit by year 3, and the initial investment was repaid by year 4). Focus on business improvements and growth via long and short-term planning.Budget monitoring, as well as analysing the need for new equipment using a cost vs benefit system. Customer prioritisation, we ensure that everyone regularly interacts with our customers to make sure every member gets personal feedback after every session.
