I was the kid at school that was sat by the teachers desk because they'd ran out of students to put me next to. Parent Teacher Evening was never an easy ride, but my mum would always leave astounded at my ability to coax conversation out of the class wallflower. I have no doubt at the time my distraction was rooted in my disinterest in oxbow lakes and Pythagoras' theorem, but those little moments of "low level disruption" largely shaped the things I now pride myself on; empathy, communication and curiosity. There is so much beauty in the complexity and individuality of humanity. With media rapidly becoming the most powerful entity in the world, we've been handed the chance to unite, tell stories and connect on a global level.Through studying PR and Journalism BA along with working in the field, I have cultivated a flavoured knowledge of the industry, a strong understanding of content creation, an extreme aptitude and passion for events organisation and am the queen of multi-tasking. As well as this, I regularly spend time podcasting and lacing words together for blog posts and articles for local glossies. Otherwise, you might find me listening to jazz and singing, broadcasting on local radio, having a self care Sunday, getting dangerously hooked on a meaty crime documentary, or catching a flight...!
