About Natasha Humphry

2mv Logistics Ltd - Transport Distribution and Freight ForwardingWe have over 35 HGV vehicles that we use for The Pallet Network & Hazchem Network and we also do full and part loads up and down the country. We have a well trained international team that import and export all around the world via road, air and sea. All of our team are trained in Dangerous goods - for all modes. 95% of our drivers are ADR trained. Challenges always welcomed :-) With 12 years hands on experience in the transport & logistics industry that had 15 employees when i started to now having 53 employees we grew pretty quick! I have worn many different hats in my time, starting from the pallet network side of things, I’ve also labelled, wrapped & scanned pallets in the warehouse. Dealt with hazardous goods, part loads, full loads, invoicing, customer claims, customer service, complaints, International and European road, air and sea freight both exports and imports, customs clearance and entries, letter of credits etc. Everything from quoting a job through to getting it labelled & shipped out. My latest role has been becoming the HR department as well as office manager, working on new polices & procedures, disciplinary, appraisals, hiring new members of staff for all job roles, health & safety. Previous to that all of my roles i have worked up to management level, my first job when i was 16 was a housekeeper at a 4 star hotel, i quickly became head housekeeper & looked after 30 members of staff at the age of 18. I have 20 years experience in hiring & HR issues. While doing that i trained to be an accountant & studied my AAT qualification. I was made redundant and at that point my father who owns 2mv logistics suggested i come and learn the family business !Every day is different, every challenge is different, every day is busy! Time flies!
