Like many leaders in my industry, I started out on a completely different career path before I found my "home" in Food and Beverage. I am an accomplished hospitality professional with over 10 years’ experience in modern cuisine. My colleagues would describe me as an extremely passionate individual, and empowering and coaching staff is one of the greatest rewards of being a leader. Over the course of my career, I've worked in high-volume concepts in major markets, including Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles.I founded Co Creator Collective to assist food-based businesses in all areas of operation. My years of experience underscore a demonstrated history of maintaining programs that improve efficiency, quality control, and resource allocation with a focus on profitability. I also provide strategic and creative senior editorial leadership in menu content design. And now, it’s time for the fun stuff.While providing advocacy and support to new food-based ventures, I decided to develop one of my own. I started Crumbsy Cookie as a way to enter an under-represented facet of food and beverage-the bakery. Now more than ever, people of color are finding more inclusivity in the food industry. I wanted to offer my unique point of view through an approachable, fun brand with an approachable price point. Fine dining showed me how having a great experience with food can elevate your relationship with it to another level. Finally, well-traveled experience in spirits, wine, beer and bar stuff put a boozy layer on top of it all!It doesn’t end there. At the moment, I’m also working on The Barmaids’ Tale Podcast, a series of children’s books, holistic skin care, and financial literacy for millennials. The best part? I get to do it all with the people I love and help rebuild our lives—even better than before.
