About Natasha Pavey
Hi, I'm Tash (she/her) 👋 I am a 22yro theatre maker, producer and climate justice activist from the South West. 🌎I have been organising within the climate movement from the age of 16 (scroll down to volunteer experience!), from confronting politicians about the need for a Green New Deal to leading a local movement of young people to strike from school. 📣In my creative work, I strive to combine both my climate activism and my training in theatre as a tool for change and to encourage the creative industries to take responsibility for their part to play in the climate emergency. 🎭I have recently finished a year as the Artist for Change, Climate Emergency at the Theatre Royal Plymouth and then spent summer with the Underbelly Edinburgh team as their Programming Assistant at the Edinburgh Fringe, supporting over 160 shows at one of the festivals leading venues. Alongside this, I am a national coordinator at Green New Deal Rising, the Theatre Green Captains UK and more. 💚I'm now taking some time out to travel, fulfilling a life long dream of interrailing around Europe. After 6 years of non stop organising I am enjoying experiencing some of the beautiful world we live on with the least impact possible. 🚝
