With a BA in Computer Science and a minor in Data Science from the University of Virginia, I have developed a well-rounded technical skill set in Python, Java, and JavaScript, alongside a strong foundation in machine learning and data analysis. My hands-on experience is exemplified through my work on the Euro 2024 Soccer Match Predictive Model, where I engineered a sophisticated machine learning algorithm to predict soccer match outcomes. This project involved leveraging web scraping and HTML parsing to collect large-scale match data, which I analyzed using Python libraries such as Pandas and Matplotlib. Through this project, I demonstrated proficiency in building predictive models while optimizing their performance through techniques such as cross-validation, improving the accuracy and reliability of match predictions. In my role as a Software Engineer Intern at Tech for Good Inc., I further expanded my technical expertise by developing an interactive framework for virtual labs. I utilized technologies like React.js, Pixi.js, and Matter.js to create a dynamic learning environment that improved educational engagement for over 500 students in underserved communities. My contributions included implementing a drag-and-drop feature that allowed users to interactively modify lab setups, enhancing user experience and engagement by 60%. This project underscored my ability to apply front-end development skills in educational technology, while also addressing accessibility challenges for students.Additionally, my involvement in the Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) Career Prep program has honed my leadership and professional skills. Through intensive case studies, mentorship, and networking opportunities, I have strengthened my strategic thinking and business acumen, equipping me to navigate both technical and leadership challenges in a professional setting. This experience, combined with my technical background, allows me to bring a holistic perspective to solving real-world problems in technology and education.
