My name is Nate Emerson. I am a Video Editor currently working for SLLEA and Cognitopia. I graduated from Lane Community College in 2019 with an Associate of Applied Science in Multimedia Design.Ever since a young age, I have had a passion for creating and telling stories through the medium of video. I find a great deal of satisfaction in fusing the elements from days of filming, recording and editing together to create one seamless experience for your screen.The position I currently occupy is responsible for recording and post production of video content used for marketing, customer support, and sales initiatives at Cognitopia. Video production includes, but is not limited to the following activities: managing a production team, storyboarding, scripting, filming remotely and on location, editing (inserting sound effects, music, and transitions). Other post production tasks as necessary, including creating social media files and digital asset management (file organization). Projects range from creating documentaries, short films, customer testimonials/success stories, training videos, “how to” tutorials, live events and conferences.
