After discussion and understanding our client MVP, we narrowed the scope to one specific goal-Our task was to create a platform for electrical company managers to use to source job leads, manage their employees, assign jobs, communicate with customers, and receive payment for completed jobs-We interviewed 7 candidates in an effort to learn the ins and outs of the life of an electrician and their managers. Gaining valuable insight to take into consideration when ideating our designs-Competitive & Comparative analyses were the primary research methods utilized during the project. We were creating this from the ground up and seeing how similar platforms worked was highly beneficial-Created sketches, low to mid-fidelity wireframes, and a clickable prototype to take to some usability tests. -Packaged our design system for handoff to our client upon project completion. This included all our synthesized research findings from interviews, c & c analyses, and usability test results.
