I guide waterfowl and upland game hunts during the fall hunting seasons. Rolling Plains Adventures is a family owned company that specializes in ranch vacations, weddings, corporate retreats, and small and big game hunting trips with professional guides. Situated on 10,000 acres of land, the ranch includes a full service grand lodge, as well as small cabins which can be rented throughout the year.

I opened and closed the center, completed daily check-in and check-out financials, and worked as a guest service representative. I also coached tennis and helped run an after-school program for children that came from low-income families.

I completed various interviews with immigrants regarding their particular success stories in America. I also worked on a number of different research projects. Most of this content was added to the organization's website.

As the one intern at her Washington, D.C. office, I was the first contact for constituents, worked on the House of Representatives computer database program, answered most of the phone calls, and worked on various assigned projects.

Big Bell Ice Cream provided me with an ice cream truck of which I used to sell the product in designated areas and at hired events. As a personal contractor, I bought the ice cream from the company, sold it at a higher price, and retained all profits. My responsibilities included keeping track of all financials including inventory control and cash flows as well as developing and maintaining a customer base in my designated area by providing exceptional customer service.
