The mission of ANDP is to promote, create and preserve mixed-income communities through direct development, lending, policy research and advocacy that result in the equitable distribution of affordable housing throughout the metropolitan Atlanta region.

Intern in the Atlanta Public Schools Department of Policy & Governance.

•Supervised the 12-week training program for approximately 1,500 newly enlisted Marines; made risk mitigation decisions, supervised strict schedule adherence, and ensured compliance with appropriate policy and regulations•Led a team of 16 senior Marines in indoctrinating newly enlisted personnel with the knowledge, skills, and ideals required for military service; provided engaged leadership, guidance, and professional development•Conducted professional interviews, counseling, and administrative electronic record keeping for 30 staff members and 1,500 newly enlisted Marines

• Coordinated daily operations of 130 personnel in preparation for deployment, ensuring operational readiness and mission completion• Managed the maintenance and repair of weapons and equipment worth more than $100 million; increased readiness from 67% to 97% in a 90-day period• Developed and implemented long-range training plan for the unit in preparation for global operations; detailed and coordinated all events for 12-month period to include multinational events and major operations• Regularly delivered briefings to senior staff officers detailing unit operations, risk management decisions, and administrative data

•Supervised 41 personnel and maintained $16 million in equipment and weapons while operating globally; received personal award for exemplary performance and leadership•Led the platoon during tactical and multinational operations in California, Hawaii, and Southwest Asia •Conducted monthly inspections of equipment, leading to a sustained 98% readiness rate for an 8-month period•Developed comprehensive training plan for 41 personnel in order to fulfill Marine Corps and Department of Defense policy requirements while maintaining mission readiness
