Campaign marketing focused on the development and execution of targeted direct mail, email, and SMS campaigns by utilizing data-driven offers and messaging for customer acquisition, retention, and competitive defense. On the shopper marketing side, I helped develop and launch the GIANT Company's (GIANT Food Stores at the time) new Shopper Marketing program.

Contributed in in-store marketing strategy and oversaw the execution of point-of-sale and other marketing programs. During this time I negotiated with print vendors to reduce the brand's overall in-store sign expenditures by five percent. Additionally, I served as a lead of Ahold USA's team for WorkFront project management software implementation.

At Gannett Fleming I was responsible for all state, national, and international marketing for transportation. I implemented targeted media strategy to increase brand awareness in key growing markets (military). The role's responsibilities included strategic planning, media planning and strategy, advertising, business development, marketing plan.

This was a one-person show, responsible for the strategy, planning, budgeting and execution of all of the company's all marketing, PR, social media, brand management, design, and video production. While we had a staff of one, I did manage relationships with external graphic designers, content writers, and advertising sales personnel.

Worked as a freelance writer and editor for the Fantasy Sports Content Creation company that worked with major media brands like NBC, Yahoo, Sports Illustrated, USA Today, FOX Sports, and CBS Sports. I also hosted and produced a series of weekly podcasts, interviewing sportswriters and celebrities.

In 2007 I launched the Pigott Agency, which combined sales and distribution network development with strategic marketing and communications services for building product manufacturers. We helped small manufacturers set up sales networks through out the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Region, while helping them develop marketing programs and eCommerce.

As public relations coordinator I executed strategic content marketing tactics for CPG, retail, construction, and health care clients.
