Here is a tiny little bit about me:My name is Nathalia, I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, and I am a 29-year-old young woman (29 is still 'young', right? 😜).Reading has always been a great passion of mine (I have been carrying books up and down for as long as I can remember), so it was just logical that my professional career would have something to do with languages.When I was a teenager, I started studying English because I wanted to understand the lyrics of musics I loved - little did I know at the time that it would make me fall in love with the world of translation and all of its possibilities.Years later, as I studied English at the University of the City of Rio de Janeiro, my dream was to become a literary translator so that I could work with my beloved books. But life happens... and after my internship, where I would translate mainly technical documents, I kept working with more and more clients and companies in translation fields other than literature - mostly, I translate advertising, marketing campaigns, websites, apps... So, working in the literary field is a professional dream yet to be fulfilled.And since I spend most hours of my days reading and writing in English, actually living in an English-speaking country, even if for just a while, is another professional - and personal - dream of mine.And who knows what the future holds, right? 😉
