Nathalia Cota has spent more than 5 years counseling clients in intellectual property, corporate strategy, business organization, licensing, dispute resolution, and agreements across multiple technologies and industries. As part of her general counsel practice, Nathalia works with startup companies on corporate governance topics and compliance, and provides effective advice on company strategies, implementation, and obtains and oversees the work of outside counsel.Prior to entering private practice, Nathalia was a judicial law clerk for U.S. District Court-Southern District of California for the Honorable John A. Houston, and legal intern at the Scripps Research Institute, Office of Patent Counsel.Nathalia received her J.D. from the California Western School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. She received a Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a B.S. from the University of California, San Diego.
