With a focus on cultivating strong donor relationships, I maintain department tracking, manage travel logistics and correspondence, and work to maximize the efficiency and productivity of the department. I am also responsible for researching, writing, and editing grant proposals for FDD.

I am the kitchen supervisor for Oh Mama Grill, an Israeli-owned Shawarma restaurant in DC. I oversee all food production making sure it complies with DC board of health and kosher guidelines. I ensure high quality products and accurate service. As the cashier as well, I am the face of the business. Every customer, whether in person or on the phone, goes through me. I guarantee good customer service and a high-quality overall dining experience.

I managed the entire operation of the District Pickle - a kosher deli at American University. I supervised the employees and managed their schedules. I took weekly inventory and ordered all needed ingredients and supplies. I determined the menu based on sales and kept track of our costs. I was the first person to arrive and the last to leave.

From September 2020 through December 2021 I worked part-time as a kitchen supervisor for KVH at Brandeis University. From December through May 19 I worked full time for KVH at Brandeis University and Veggie Crust, a restaurant in Brookline. I oversaw the kitchens making sure they remain fully kosher. I communicated with the chefs and other kitchen workers to make sure they comply with protocols. I have learned a great deal over the last two years in terms of interpersonal skills and conflict resolution as I have navigated problems that arise, miscommunications, or other issues in the kitchen or with its workers.

I interned for TPS News, an English language Israeli-news service based in Jerusalem. I was the TPS News primary copy editor responsible for proofreading and editing daily news articles. This experience sharpened my attention to detail and accuracy. In addition to copyediting, I identified the top five stories each day and posted them on Twitter. Lastly, I compiled the daily email newsletters for TPS based on the same top five news stories each day. This involved writing 100-word summaries of each story and identifying relevant photos, while maintaining the style of formatting TPS desired.

I was a TA (teacher's assistant) for classes in Temple Shalom's religious school and Hebrew school. During religious school I mainly helped facilitate activities, lead small groups, and sometimes teach small parts of the class. During Hebrew school I also facilitated group activities and often took students for one-on-one tutoring. Throughout both I had a student with special needs and I stuck with him as his "aid" or helper. I helped encourage him to participate and explain concepts to him. I also took him on walks when he felt overwhelmed and other things of that nature.

I was an office assistant at Alabama Steel Supply during all of my winter and summer breaks in high school. I made color-chip-sample rings, stocked the screw warehouse, cleaned the office, answered the phone for a few weeks, did bookkeeping for a summer, yardwork, ran errands, and shadowed the boss/ owner and other salesmen during sales meetings, in-person sales, and other business meetings.
