Using synthetic and systems biology approaches to engineer cell-fate transitions for cell therapies: • Improved direct conversion of mouse embryonic fibroblast to induced motor neuron (iMN) by 100-fold, enabling generation of iMNs at scales sufficient for in vivo transplantation • Systematically examined how proliferation and transcription factor levels drive direct conversion
