Solus inc. represents many lighting and controls companies throughout territory in 2 states. Responsibilities at Solus are to manage the controls department and handle the design, quotes, and technical support for lighting controls, metering systems, specialty lighting systems, and theatrical lighting and controls. In support of Solus I also conduct training for industry professionals on products, building code requirements, and lighting control system design. I produce technical drawings using AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Visio. Furthermore the position includes the final in field commissioning of lighting control systems with owner training and continued system support. During my time at this position I have represented Strand, Watt Stopper, Redwood Systems, Lumawave, Color Kinetics, and Eaton Cooper Controls to include the brands Greengate, iLumin, Fifthlight, LumaWatt, and Zero88.

Deep Submergence Unit provides submarine rescue for the U.S. Navy and foreign navies. Rescue systems include the Submarine Rescue Diving Recompression System and Submarine Rescue Chamber Flyaway System. Assigned assets include, the Advanced Diving Suit 2000, and primary rescue module called Falcon. Both systems are operable in depths of up to 2,000 ft of seawater. Staffed by active duty, reserve, contractor, and civilian personnel, DSU provides a lifeline for distressed submarines worldwide.

Cascade Lighting is a manufacture representative with a line card of over 130 lighting and controls companies. Cascade Lighting covers a territory of 5 states in the Pacific Northwest. For Cascade Lighting I supported all aspects of a lighting controls project from design to installation to commissioning. From the corporate office in Portland I provided technical lighting controls support to 3 remote offices and 40+ employees. In addition to calling on engineers, architects, distributors, contractors, and end user my responsibilities included design and quotation of lighting control systems, developing installation documents including overlays, wiring details, riser diagrams, and submittals. Job also included in field and telephone tech support, lighting controls system commissioning, and training. During my time at this position I represented Lutron, Leviton, Nexlight, Crestron, Encelium, GE, ILC, Lite Touch, Sensor Switch, PLC Multipoint, Colortran, Traxon, and E:cue.
