My work here consists of facilitating a small LGBTQ youth group in Scarborough one evening a fortnight. I am in charge of organizing fortnightly activities for the group which could range from topics of discussion about issues affecting young people to more generalised activities such as bowling or Arcades. During my time here, I have been engaging with referral clients on a one to one basis, helping them to progress back into work. This includes helping them with C.V’s, and looking at their own personal barriers back into work and how they can overcome them. As we were contracted through the DWP imputing key data about our clients and maintaining open communication with them and other services was vital.
