About Nathan Britton

I am currently working as a Project Leader in the Production Excellence Team within Solvay's Industrial function supporting sites and businesses throughout North America.I previously worked as a Senior Process Engineer in the Monomers/Polymers Unit at Solvay's Baltimore Facility from 2014 to 2022. My responsibilities include production, technical transfer, process control, and process design support for the area and site. I started out my career in Solvay's Foundations for the Future program, which is a leadership development program for graduates in Chemical and Mechanical Engineering. Entry-level engineers participate in three 18-month rotations at Solvay's different North American production sites and business units. My time in that program was been split between a Sulfuric Acid Regeneration Plant in Baton Rouge, LA (January 2012 to January 2014) and NAM Research and Development Lab in Bristol, PA (June 2010 to January 2012).Prior to working for Solvay in the Foundations program, I was a student at Drexel University, where I completed three 6-month COOPs in different industrial settings.
