At Noblis, I have the honor of working with a talented group of engineers and researchers extending the state of autonomy with machine learning research and integration between robotic systems. As an intern, I worked on the Outdoor Sampling Rover NSR and the Adaptive Communications NSR, mostly applying my robotics experience and developing and integrating both machine learning and computer vision techniques for more accurate autonomous interactions both between an agent and its surroundings, and between autonomous agents. I'm currently interested in continuing development on our rover and working on deep fusion research, in addition to my role as a PI.

As a part of the Spark! Fellowship, I helped refine a project leveraging the power of NLP machine learning models to assist with social media filtering and analytics.

My summers spent working at the US Embassy brought me valuable experience that has further inspired my desire to pursue a technical career. Over two summers, I worked in the Information Systems Center. My duties included database organization, web design, and designing and giving cybersecurity presentations. Applying my programming knowledge directly to real-world problems was a meaningful and inspiring experience, such as using VBA in order to create automated processes by which data from many departments are organized into one searchable database. In addition, automated emails for approval were sent to the required officers relating to the aforementioned forms. The final step was to create a web interface for increased user friendliness. I took initiative when I saw that clear, effective signage was missing in our Consular sections, and went above my regular technical duties to create more useful graphics. This included organizing meetings with Consular employees to work towards constant improvement in the services offered at our Embassy. These processes were inherently interdisciplinary, and required both technical and artistic abilities, highlighting the importance of a broader education as well as having a deep education. My work at the embassy was a great opportunity both to give back to the foreign service community, and to work with employees of varied backgrounds. It is a unique situation to constantly travel from one place to the next, and I believe the stories I heard from my colleagues added to my broader, global perspective.

As a pianist for Holy Trinity Parish's Sunday services, I offered piano accompaniment and solo music, including working with a professional Cantor.
