In this role, I oversee F&B operations at three locations: an assisted living facility, a retirement resort, and a member-only retirement community. This includes staff recruitment and training, scheduling, budgeting, P&L, and inventory management. I design five-week menus biannually to adhere with budgetary restraints and dietary needs, with 95% of the meals cooked from scratch.Some notable achievements are:  Saving the company $100K+ in one year by streamlining expenses, eliminating waste, consolidating labor, and renegotiating vendor contracts for more competitive pricing. Achieving five perfect health scores from the county health department and received the highest overall resident satisfaction scores of all previous directors. Driving sales and profitability by coordinating more than 24 marketing events executed by the F&B department annually. Improving staff performance and productivity at all three locations and encouraged career advancement by providing ongoing training and coaching and mentoring future leaders.

In this role, I led daily operations for this fast-paced restaurant generating $2.6M in annual sales. This included staff recruitment and training, scheduling, menu planning, inventory management, budgeting, P&L, quality control, and safety compliance. Some key achievements are:  Achieving the highest overall operational scores for area for four consecutive years, validated through guest survey Top Box scores. Reducing food costs by more than 3% by assembling a bi-weekly kitchen manager committee to assess inventory needs and streamline stock while overseeing recipe adherence, portion control, ordering, and yield management.  Spearheading the first training program for staff-level kitchen supervisors, resulting in multiple promotions, and being chosen by the Director of Operations to lead corporate training of new items and menu roll outs for all Texas locations. Being personally recognized by Friday's VPO for being a leader in the community and brand ambassador and receiving a promotion to Multi Unit Director after completing a year-long, multi-unit leadership development program.
