The Program Manager of Technical Training, ensures individuals from any age throughout the region learn about tech careers, obtain tech skills, and are able to successfully address barriers preventing pursuit of a tech career or further tech education. Individuals from underrepresented populations are targeted for services in order to break the cycle of poverty in their families. Coordinators are responsible for implementing the daily operations of assigned programs, and therefore, should be highly independent yet communicative to ensure the needs of the program/location are met while AIM goals are also achieved. They must maintain strong relationships with key constituents and represent AIM to the public. They must be passionate about teaching others about the opportunity tech provides to improve one’s life and the community at large.

I was accredited by Google to sell Google Business View for the inside of businesses. With 360 degree panoramic photos, we built Virtual Tours for the inside of clients locations to then embed the VR Tour to their Google plus page to boost engagement and increase analytics. With this role I offered our service as a tech start-up concept with interest from a team in Germany that wanted to use this tech and start a local business out of it. My Partner and I then went through the process of utilizing our cold sales while in the region to fund the training for this new found German start-up from infancy to a full blown operation with new business being acquired annually.
