Over 20 years experience in epidemiology and biostatistics in the field of cancer, cancer screening and public health. Currently employed as a biostatistician at Cancer Alliance Queensland, my passion is working with clinicians to utilise routine administrative and clinical data collections in a meaningful way. Some of the ways we at CAQ do this is by understanding unique clinical questions and how they can be answered with available data, setting up suites of quality assurance indicators to monitor and assess clinical outcomes or even publishing data dashboards for the general public to browse and find information regarding cancer epidemiology.Most recently we delivered a new dashboarding tool called the Cancer Data Explorer (Google will take you there!) which allows users to gain insights into Cancer Incidence, Mortality and Survival in Queensland since 1982.www.cancerallianceqld.health.gov.au/cancerdataexplorer
