As the lead engineer for the flexible and rigid conduit assembly product line, I was the technical liaison between the customer and our salesmen, clarifying customer's specs as needed so we could provide accurate quotes and designs. Due to the sensitive nature of Sunbank's millitary products, a portion of my time was spent immersed in the United States Munitions List and the Export Administration Regulations classifying the governmental controls for the distribution of our products.

I worked on collaborative and individual design projects for residential and OEM pool/spa ozone sanitizers. In addition to designing top level assemblies and lower level components, I created drawings, BOMs, manuals, test procedures, and managed the UL certification process. Supporting the manufacturing departments during first article builds, I used their feedback to execute Engineering Change Notices that optimized assembly.

As a member of the Design for Manufacturing team, I performed strain tests on printed circuit board assemblies and presented my findings to upper management. These tests identified any components at risk for solder damage during assembly. I created a test procedure and a spreadsheet to process the raw data collected from the tests.
