Assistant Team Leader for the Prince’s Trust Team Programme, working alongside my colleague I assist in the delivery of a course which strives to boost key skills in young people such as; leadership, communication, confidence, and managing feelings etc. For each team we run I must recruit the young people and then aid in their development throughout the programme. During the programme the Young People must gain some work experience, it is my role to speak to other organizations and companies to try and source long lasting relationships so that our Young People can gain the best possible experiences from professional environments.

Leading climbing sessions for children, young people (including Special Educational Needs) and adults. Instruction on one-to-one basis or small group sessions from beginners to more experienced climbers, this includes carrying out safety briefings and risk assessments in order to sign-off climbers so that they can climb unsupervised at the centre. Lessons are planned in advance of the sessions based on the ability of the participants. Additionally, responsible for the setting of graded routes at the centre in line with technical indoor climbing grades - this involves assessing the risks associated with each climb and working at height. Also, leading party/celebratory sessions which are required to be inclusive and enjoyable for all. Supervised climbing sessions on the centres mobile climbing wall at public and corporate events.
