Lead communications engineer in charge of 28 engineers spread across 6 geographical locations in support of enterprise level network infrastructure design and implementation. Responsible for project evaluation and resource allocation as it relates to communications design and refresh projects. Evaluates, procures, designs, documents, and implements new technologies in DISA enterprise data centers. Expert in process improvement. Led the design team responsible for evaluating, designing, documenting, and implementing new technologies that changed the face of today's Defense Enterprise Computing Center (DECC). Escalations lead for network resolution issues originated from new business team as well as network operations team. Proven ability to think critically and solve complex problems through both a strong knowledge base and by bringing multiple groups together to trouble shoot issues as a team. Subject matter expert in technologies such as routing, switching, load balancing, and application integration within the ESD enterprise architecture.

Chosen as one of five original members out of over seventy people to be part of the Project Integration Group within the Consolidated Communications Center (CCC). Responsible for integrating new workloads into DISA DECC architecture. Developed CCC Project Integration policies pertaining to customer relations and workload integration. Established baseline templates for use between the engineering and operations staff. Developed migration strategies for moving workload out of COCOM datacenters and into DISA CSD DECCs. Worked with new business engineers to plan, design, and implement sets of policies, procedures, and instructions for dealing with certain critical applications. Specifically requested to work the implementation of the DODs largest exchange environment. Responsible for building the networks paths that house and support Defense Enterprise Email that is designed to house over 4 million users worldwide. Hand selected to implement projects that involved new technologies due to my ability to learn on the fly.

CCC technician responsible for maintaining a variety of network devices within the Consolidated Communications Center. Devices maintained include Juniper, Cisco, and Sidewinder firewalls, Juniper and Cisco routers and switches, F5, IBM, Cisco, Riverbed load balancers. Troubleshoots both hardware and software related issues related to routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.Routinely troubleshoots complex network and application issues across DISA enterprise data centers. Serves as SME for CCC in regards to routing issues between multiple ESD architectures. Assisted in writing policies for DISN OSS CONOPS that outlined the roles and responsibilities of DISA ESD and DISA Network Services from an operational perspective.

One of seven technicians responsible for maintaining base internal and external routers, Blue Coat proxy servers, and base DNS. Duties include maintaining IAVA compliance on all network devices as well as reporting status for any and all POA&Ms within the base communications squadron. Deploy requirements set forth by TCNOs and CTOs and responsible for reporting status of DOD directives to Communications Squadron senior leaders.

Member of 15 person ship responsible for training all new employees on roles and responsibilities as a member of the tech control section. Single handedly upgraded and installed new tactical communications facility at Sather AB at Baghdad International Airport. In charge of all preventative maintenance inspections as well as IAVA patches to ensure deployable devices maintain STIG compliance. Designs, configures and troubleshoots Promina IDNX nodes, multiple brands of KIV/KG devices as well as Cisco routers and switches. Field Change Officer responsible for handling all updates sent forth by the TDC ICAP department at Hanscom AFB.
