-Provide a comprehensive approach to STEM Education through activity-, project-, and problem-based curriculum-Facilitate students through the design process and to apply what they know, identify problems, find unique solutions, and lead their own learning-Implement industry-leading technology to have students solve problems while gaining skills in communication, collaboration, critical-thinking, and creativity-Promote a vision of technology-enabled teaching and learning that includes use of best instructional practices and access to current information and technology tools -Understand and apply principles of adult learning to design and deliver relevant, engaging, and differentiated professional development-Support the school and district’s overall vision for educational technology-Model and co-teach with staff during the implementation of new educational technology strategies-Created Robotics Team that had two teams who won the 2016 VEX Robotics IL State Championship. These two teams, which consisted of an all girl eighth grade team and a seventh and eighth grade boys team competed in the 2016 VEX Robotics World Championship.

-Trained teachers to use the latest technological tools and resources to develop effective curricula for K-12 students-Prepared staff and students for the school district’s 1:1 technology initiative -Led profession development trainings on Google based educational applications for the school district-Collaborated with teachers to create goals and strategies for integrating technology into instruction-Modeled and co-taught with teachers during the implementation of new educational technology strategies

-Prepared lessons and implemented effectively in a seventh and eighth grade social studies classroom-Implemented creative and new teaching methods for developing student’s interest by incorporating educational technology-Modify lessons and activities to better fit students individual learning needs-Contribute and collaborate with teammates to enhance reading comprehension-Collaborate with the ESL director to better accommodate the needs of second language learners-Created and taught the seventh grade social studies curriculum for the cohort program that better meet the unique needs of gifted students
