• SAP Quality Management responsibilities for materials, inspection types, development of quality plans, defining critical characteristics, quality notifications and report out on such items. Support all functions of SAP Quality Management. • Responsible for Quality function including Supplier Selection & Development, Supplier Quality Performance (PPM, Delivery, Responsiveness) including support of supply chain activities in order to develop a robust supply base related to quality management systems for improved performance. • Development of suppliers in order to support a high performance organization related to supplier quality. • Responsible for reducing costs related to supplier defects, recovering cost related to supplier rework and monitoring of defects. Reduction of COPQ.• Responsible for liaison between supply chain, engineering and manufacturing. Customer returns/warranty claims related to supplier performance and recovery.• Responsibility for Supplier Audits to include certified product for use in underground mining, supplier qualification (on-site assessments) and ISO.• Other Key Responsibilities: Scrap/defect reduction, monitoring and recording of scrap/rework related defects, Cost Reduction Projects, First Articles (PSW/PPAP)

Senior Supplier Quality EngineerCastings, Forgings, Hydraulics, Electronics, Fasteners (Hardware) & Machining• Investigate causes of Quality costs and initiate Corrective and Preventative actions.• Maintain a current level of knowledge of government/global specifications and regulations as it applies to Industry.• Assist in developing Quality systems to collect, collate, monitor, and provide performance feedback to suppliers.• Organize and conduct Product, Process, and ISO 9001 Internal & External audits to ensure parts, components, assemblies and machines comply with applicable specifications and regulations.• Develop and implement procedures to be used by Inspection and Production personnel. Developed Rework Recovery process for supplier caused defects.• Work with Suppliers and Subcontractors to conduct audits, verify products and processes, and resolve quality issues.• Develop and conduct training programs to increase job skill level of the Inspection workforce and personnel from other functional areas, as applicable.• Produce written reports that will effectively communicate to other functional areas the results of specific studies or other performance measurements.• Recommend the purchase of new equipment and systems to reduce Quality costs and meet the strategic business plan • Manage the implementation of projects related to Quality, as assigned.• Audit Suppliers and Subcontractors, verify products and processes, and resolve supplier quality issues• Assess, audit, qualify, develop and approve new suppliers.• Travel required inside and outside of the United States assessing supplier capabilities.• Work closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering, outside suppliers and strategic sourcing. Support all areas and act as a liaison when needed.

• Produce updated drawing and design changes using Inventor 11 and AutoCAD.• Provide all documentation and necessary requirements for updates throughout the process of engineering changes.• Required to make and keep engineering change documents for all revisions made to documents. • Make 3-D models, drawing of models and images into our viewing system.• Design drawings and improvements as required by our customers for safety and production purposes. • Design, model and make drawings of hydraulic, water and fire circuits to strict specifications. This requires piping diagrams and schematics for all circuits listed above. Mounting drawings are also required for these applications.• Travel outside the state and deal with customers, federal inspectors and possible new clients.

Oil City

• Operation of a Manual Lathe, Milling Machine and Surface Grinder. • Responsible for 800+ rolls for two separate tube mills located in Pennsylvania. • Inventory of rolls, shipping and receiving of rolls and production of emergency parts for breakdowns. • Daily tracking and inspection of rolls to ensure quality product. • Solely responsible for problem solving and troubleshooting for both mills. Look up mechanical drawings on AutoCAD to read, make parts and make mechanical drawings.
