I am a student studying Economics and Statistics at the University of Auckland. Economics is a subject that I am personally passionate about and thus I aspire to use this knowledge in my career. In todays day and age, economics is a rapidly changing concept and I hope to use what I learn in both statistics and economics to assist companies in navigating future business climates. My aspirations for a job are not all too specific as I understand a business degree can open the door to many work opportunities and I am open minded to this. Ultimately, however, working for a large consulting firm would be an ideal situation for me as I see many opportunities within this industry. Working a government job, or for the reserve bank is also something of interest to me as assisting the country through my work would be a potentially rewarding path for me. My past job experiences include working in hospitality at a bar, manual labor work at Pacific Hygiene, and my current job working in customer service at Phone Plus.
