During my time with the Western Jihadism Project, my work has included researching Syrian foreign fighters and recruitment rings in the West, organizing and citing working papers and publications, conducting social network analysis of foreign fighters using Palantir and ATLAS.ti, and sourcing the plot list library. I am most interested in the long-standing networks behind Jihadist recruitment and violent plot execution.

Research assistant for a longitudinal study of past Birthright Israel participants and applicants. I assist in conducting phone interviews, entering and analyzing data, and reaching out to past respondents. I also assisted with a two-month study of Jews in Buffalo, NY in summer 2013.

Responsibilities included everything from general office work to assisting patrons in researching their family histories, as well as first hand research. Final research project included researching New England slave trade cases, 1796-1866.
