Fall 2024:I am a developer on the Product Maintenance team that works to fix bugs and improve previously deployed applications through Bits of Good. I specifically worked primarily on our Healing4Heroes application where I:- Redesigned the onboarding process and User schema using our MongoDB and TypeScript backend to incorporate pet health information.- Designed and implemented several in-app reminders using Next.js to remind handlers to provide care to their pet.- Utilized internal email tools to send Healing4Heroes administrative emails and users reminders for important events.Spring 2024:I worked with a team to develop new features for GT Scheduler, a website that helps GT students manage their schedules and hosts over 40,000 users.- Worked on updating the final exam matrix parser written in Python so that thousands of students can access their final exam schedule through our application- Improved user experience by maintaining the application's state in local storage- Created and designed a modal that is responsive to all screen sizes and informs users of how to use the new share schedules feature

We developed a React web application that solved the problem of having to read a huge chapter of a textbook just to understand a few key points by using ChatGPT to extract the key points from inputted text and give it back toa student.
