Medication Management Systems (MMS) is the leader in establishing, supporting and delivering patient-centered medication management services. This company's products include a) MMS Nexus Pharmaceutical Care System, a software-as-a-Service for health care professionals, health plans, PBMs and health systems which supports delivery and administration of medication management services; and b) Healthcare Service comprised of a pharmacist call center and network of specialized pharmacists delivering comprehensive medication management services to patients through relationships with PBMs, employers, health plans and other payer entities. Responsible for strategy and operations of this start-up company which was spun out of the University of Minnesota in 2006.

 Strategic reorganization of company’s Account Management division (50 FTE) to deliver superior service to over 400 clients. Reorganization included management overhaul and recruitment and hiring of industry experienced account management leadership and staff. Instituted objective metric driven incentive plan which rewarded desired behaviors and business objectives including customer satisfaction and loyalty and contract renewal. Complete overhaul of 80 FTE bi-coastal call center operations to achieve industry standard performance and mitigate performance penalties. Stabilized pharmaceutical manufacturer contract operations including procurement of new contract administration vendor and software to improve administrative efficiency, contract performance, cash flows and financial performance.  Determined pricing and negotiated renewal contracts with key existing customers resulting in retention of revenues and maintenance of acceptable profit margins.
