Responsible for creating a collaborative and welcoming classroom environment in a former machining/metalworking laboratory with little financial resources. Was a crucial figure in implementing iPads within the classroom and PLTW Curriculum. Utilized iPads and Canvas LMS to create a paperless classroom that increased student accessibility, communication, and overall performance. Also, I was responsible for overhauling and implementing the Automotive Program and the Manufacturing and Design Program. Accountable for creating an Automotives III class and increasing student enrollment in the Automotives Program. Changed and updated the Automotive Lab’s 1950s layout to today’s standards to meet modern classroom and laboratory needs with little to no capital outlay. Collaborated with teachers in the department to modify and create a Technology Lab. Known as an indispensable, knowledgeable, insightful, trusted, student-oriented teacher and labeled as a Master Teacher.
