To start up a new site as an operations manager.East Coast Storage / East Coast Bulk Haulage is already a well established business in Queensland and had elected to open a new site in Victoria.I was approached by an owner of the company and offered the opportunity to manage the site.Duties include but not limited to - - Working with the general manager to set safety standards for ECS Nationally.- Managing effective cost analysis each week to target highest potential profits.- Managing labor requirements.- Creating effecting planning forecast documents and implementing strong leadership skills to achieve planned outcomes.- Managing transport requirements targeting high efficiency for equipment.- Business development- Building a robust team culture and creating opportunity for team members to provide input.- Maintaining standards for road safety compliance.- Implementing and maintaining Quarantine standards to accompany Bio security controls set by the government.- Communicating with customer base to problem solve as required. Gather and meet customer expectations.- Work with service providers to develop the suitability of existing IT programs.

Duties include but not limited to -Manage national stock holdings for multiple spare parts for automation equipment located at 5 different process plants using 5s Methodology.Liaise with current and new suppliers to obtain best service at low cost.Problem solving maintenance failures and strategically applying fixes or sourcing products to do so.Database management and continuous improvement.Apply LEAN principals of just in time to manage overstocks.Pick / Pack and distribute parts required to our other sites.Complete monthly stocktakes and investigate errors.Support local operations with compliance to Safety, Quality and Productivity.
