Supporting several science missions as a member of the mission systems engineering branch (599), including:-Integration and testing, and verification for the TSIS-2 mission.-Mission formulation on the Line Emission Mapper proposal effort for the 2023 Astrophysics Probe solicitation.

Variety of project experiences while in the Aeronautics and Ground-Based Systems Branch (Code LSC), including:-Verification of the Orion European Service Module Main Engine Assembly. -Testing and analysis of a novel pre-compressor cooling (PCC) method in component test rig, Development of a PCC system design tool, and collaborative use of design tool with industry partner.-Systems engineering for boundary layer ingesting tailcone system (BLITS) technology development project.-Assembly & integration planning and project management for a career development program producing a proof of concept commercial lunar payload services (CLPS) payload demonstrating an advanced thermal management system for surviving several lunar cycles.-Research into turbine-based combined-cycle (TBCC) and turboramjet (TRJ) engines, including full-scale testing, and propulsion system studies. -Systems engineering for the Hybrid Thermally Efficient Core (HyTEC) project, focused on accelerating technology development in collaboration with industry for next gen small core turbine engines.

Worked four summers (May-August) as a Pathways Intern.2017: Data analysis for a full-scale pre-compressor cooling (PCC) system test. Research into a novel PCC method and proposal of component test rig.2016: Assembly planning for the Advanced eLectrical Bus (ALBus) CubeSat, and engineering development unit assembly and testing (functional & vibration). System interface modeling for the Solar Electric Propulsion Power Integrated Testbed (SEP POINT), and assembly and bench testing of power processing unit discharge modules.2015: Development of small-scale adhesion measurement rig for seals applications. 2014: Mission analysis via integrated systems modeling of spacecraft utilizing nuclear thermal propulsion.

Taught half the lab sections for "Introduction to Aerospace Engineering Systems", a class focused on the design-build-test process. Topics include: computer aided design, manufacturing, simulation, composites, mechanisms, instrumentation and basic electronics. Embedded software development for data acquisition and processing, control and communications. Responsibilities included teaching new topics, tools, and software, grading, and managing the lab.
